Terrence Howard says he wants to be president, and one of his priorities would be eliminating federal taxes for descendants of enslaved Americans for the next 400 years.

The Empire star shared his political aspirations during a recent encounter with TMZ in New York City.

“Yes. I’m looking forward to becoming president,” Howard said when asked about the upcoming election.

Asked if he was serious about pursuing the presidency, he made his intentions clear.

“If they’re not going to make a difference, somebody’s got to do something,” he replied.

Howard said he would like to speak with President Donald Trump about his proposal, which would exempt descendants of enslaved people from federal taxes for four centuries. The actor believes the change could address longstanding economic inequality while helping Black families build wealth and invest in their communities.

He called his proposal a response to “400 years of bad karma.”

Howard’s conversation with the breaking news outlet also included questions about MAGA rapper Nicki Minaj’s political influence and her ties to Trump.
