Gilbert Arenas Addresses FED Gambling Case… “I’m Snitching”

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas says he plans on beating his recent charges for allegedly running an illegal gambling operation by “snitching” on his fellow codefendants.

Arenas said out of the five men arrested, he was the only one who bailed out.

“Good luck in court. I’m pretty sure I ain’t gonna be there when it’s starting to go, cause, yeah, I’m snitching. There was one n—a in there, he must have been the head,” he said to his followers. “They gave him a translator, the translator said, ‘Yeah you’re not going to [bonded] out today, probably next week.’ He’s like, ‘Oh, it’s okay, it’s okay.’ Hey, what about me? Where my lawyer?! I’m not used to this s–t right here, this like Kwame Brown house, there’s seven n—as in this room. One s–tter, six n—as.”

The Justice Department charged Arenas, 42, with conspiracy, operating an illegal gambling business, and making false statements to federal investigators. The indictment, unsealed Wednesday, claims the game featured games like Pot Limit Omaha and was staffed with chefs, valets, young women, and armed guards. Authorities say the group took a cut from each pot, known as a “rake.”

These games were allegedly held between September 2021 and July 2022.

Arenas later doubled down in his snitching plans, even referencing known hip-hop snitch, Tekashi 6ix9ine.

“Hey, listen… Ain’t nothing wrong with snitching, man. It ain’t nothing wrong with just telling, man. Especially when you got a fine-a– girl at home. If I went to Jail, Kwame would be in her DMs. I’m going to be honest with you. They don’t even got to say 20 years. N—a, they can say 20 hours. I’mma just be honest, I don’t know 6ix9ine doing, but I’m pretty sure he living a little bit better than the n—as that he snitched on.”
