PK Kemsley is pushing back on Dorit Kemsley’s claim that filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills required more than $700,000 in fashion and beauty expenses.
In new court documents, PK argued that Bravo never instructed Dorit to spend lavishly on clothing, handbags, jewelry, makeup artists, or stylists. He described those purchases as lifestyle decisions rather than costs she needed to keep her reality television job.
Dorit previously told the court that staying “camera ready” came with a steep price. She claimed she spent approximately $217,000 during season 15 and another $500,000 over prior seasons, bringing the total to about $713,000 over 26 months.
She also argued that the figure was misleading because she returned some pieces or received credits for items that did not fit or work for filming.
PK maintained that the remaining total was still substantial and that Dorit makes significantly more money than he does but has refused to contribute to mortgage payments, insurance, property taxes and other expenses for the home she has occupied since their split.
Dorit, however, alleged that PK abruptly stopped covering the mortgage even though he could afford the payments.
PK also took issue with Dorit allegedly spending several weeks vacationing in Europe without their children.
