Charrisse Jackson Jordan is taking aim at the behind-the-scenes dynamics she says have shaped The Real Housewives of Potomac, and she is not holding back when it comes to Gizelle Bryant.
In a recent interview, Charrisse suggested that Gizelle has played a major role in a more manufactured version of the show.
“Gizelle and Ashley sit in the laboratory and create stories for everybody except themselves,” she said, adding that information attributed to her from Gizelle should be viewed skeptically. “Coming from Gizelle don’t mean it’s necessarily true either,” she said.
Charrisse claimed the environment has shifted over time, with cast members leaning into self-produced narratives.
“Now I find Potomac, they have these characters that come in and they want to be a character and they don’t want to live their real lives,” she said. “They’ll dictate what part of their lives they want to live.”
She also alleged she has been used as a convenient target to move storylines forward.
“I’m always the fall guy,” she said, claiming she has been blamed for rumors she insists she did not start. “I never said that,” she added, referencing past claims involving a trainer and questions about a child’s paternity.
“It’s so fake,” she went on. “The acting is so bad.”
The reality star also accused Gizelle and Karen Huger of “icing her out” of the show out of jealousy.
