Boosie Badazz is weighing in on the fallout from the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
During an appearance on The Jason Lee Show, Boosie said he believes Drake was abandoned by many of the artists he supported throughout his career.
“I don’t like how all these artists left this man to hang,” Boosie said.
The rapper explained that despite being a fan of Lamar and believing he ultimately won the battle, he was surprised by how few people publicly stood by Drake.
“Since I been home, I watched this man boost people’s career, didn’t have to do it,” Boosie said. “For everybody to just look the other way. This n—a put money in a lot of people’s pockets.”
Boosie was asked if Drake can get back to being “Drake” after everything — this was his response:

“Yeah. Music is dynamic. He could drop another album like he did in 2016… people will change, bro. Drake might even meet somebody, marry a woman the whole world loves, and… https://t.co/ZhkkfxKqam pic.twitter.com/KxTzFUyvER
Boosie added that Drake’s generosity over the years should have earned him more loyalty from those around him.
“If I was that n—a, I would be hurt,” he said. “The joke’s on him if he go back to them n—as.”
Still, Boosie believes Drake’s career remains strong despite the highly publicized battle.
“He back number one,” he said. “Everywhere I go, I’m still hearing f–king Drake.”
Boosie previously said Kendrick came out on top during the feud, explaining in 2024 that Lamar kept up the pressure while Drake struggled to regain momentum but he believes Drake will have no trouble returning to the top of the charts.
