Anthony Edwards Ordered to Pay $3k a Month in Child Support!

Anthony Edwards has been ordered to pay $3,222 a month in child support for the 1-year-old daughter he shares with Ayesha Howard, after a lengthy legal battle.

A Georgia judge set the monthly amount after Howard did not appear at trial or submit evidence supporting her claims, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The filing reportedly listed Howard’s monthly income as $0.

The figure comes despite the Minnesota Timberwolves star signing a five-year contract worth more than $200 million in 2023. The documents also state that Edwards has already paid approximately $110,000 toward his daughter’s care. Those payments reportedly began with $20,000, followed by $5,000 each month from January 2025 through the trial.

Howard initially pursued the matter in California, while Edwards filed in Georgia. His attorneys argued that Howard had few connections to California and claimed she chose Los Angeles in hopes of securing a larger award.

The Georgia court ultimately agreed that the case should be handled there before setting the $3,222 monthly payment.

Howard had previously pushed back against a separate viral rumor claiming Edwards paid more than $1 million in child support upfront.

“There are no court documents, motions or proceedings that have occurred, nor have I been offered or agreed to such terms,” she said in April 2025.
