Big Tigger’s estranged wife, Alicia Brown, is suing Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat and his office, claiming she was wrongfully arrested on a kidnapping warrant even though a judge had granted her custody of her children.
Brown, 37, filed the federal lawsuit herself after her July 6 arrest on Interstate 85. She says officers conducted a “high-risk felony traffic stop” before taking her into custody over an active Maryland warrant involving a minor child.
Hart County deputies previously said two children were safely recovered from Brown’s SUV, including a child she shares with estranged husband Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan.
Brown alleges a Fulton County judge had already issued a June 24 protective order granting her custody of her minor children and argues authorities should have considered that order before arresting her. Her complaint says the warrant was later recalled and no prosecution followed.

She is now seeking records to determine who requested the warrant, what information supported it, and whether authorities knew about the custody ruling.
Brown also alleges Morgan had unusual access to Labat or sheriff’s office employees during the couple’s legal disputes and questions whether those connections played any role in her arrest. The claims have not been proven in court.
Her lawsuit alleges unlawful detention, malicious arrest, civil conspiracy, and due process violations.
Brown is seeking compensatory and punitive damages and a jury trial.
