Zaire Wade was arrested after Burbank police responded to early morning 911 calls from neighbors who reported hearing “loud screaming and stomping” inside his home, according to call log records obtained by TMZ.
The incident unfolded Sunday at about 5:22 a.m., when concerned neighbors contacted authorities over what they described as “yelling and stomping noises.” The sounds raised suspicions that a domestic disturbance, or “someone in distress,” could be happening inside the residence.
A separate call also reported a female with lacerations to her face, per the records.
When officers arrived at the home, they made contact with the occupants and began investigating. Wade, the eldest child of NBA star Dwyane Wade, was taken into custody.
He was booked on three charges: felony domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment. An emergency protective order was issued following the arrest.
Wade was released later that day after posting $50,000 bond.
The 24-year-old has built a public profile of his own in recent years through basketball and modeling. He previously played professionally after spending time in the NBA G League and has appeared in fashion campaigns while remaining closely associated with his famous family.
Wade has not addressed the arrest.
