A Fulton County judge ordered a female juror who didn’t return for jury duty in the Young Thug trial because she was on a trip in the Dominican Republic to write a 30-page essay about the importance of serving on a jury.

The juror was supposed to report to jury selection on Monday and the judge ordered deputies to take her into custody as soon as she returned.

The 30-page essay, that was given to her instead of being held in contempt of court, must cite 20 sources on the importance of serving on a jury. Judge Glanville also ordered the essay to be written in APA style.
She has three weeks to write it and present it to the judge on Feb. 13.

28 people were originally indicted alongside Williams in May, but six are being tried separately, and eight have already pleaded guilty, including Gunna, who has been accused of being a snitch.
