More than six years after a fight over NBA YoungBoy turned bloody, Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather has been ordered to pay Lapattra Jacobs more than $50 million.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show that a Texas judge awarded Jacobs $40,105,000 in compensatory damages, plus $10 million in exemplary damages, following the 2020 stabbing involving Floyd Mayweather’s daughter.
The massive award includes more than $8 million for past medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical impairment, lost earning capacity and disfigurement. The court also awarded roughly $32 million for future damages tied to those same injuries.
In its findings, the court said Mayweather’s conduct involved “an extreme degree of risk” and “constituted aggravated assault involving the use of a deadly weapon.”

The case dates back to April 2020, when police said Mayweather attacked Jacobs with two knives at NBA YoungBoy’s home. Jacobs was found on the floor and later rushed to a hospital.
YoungBoy was home during the incident and was briefly handcuffed by police before being released. Jacobs later named him in her civil lawsuit, but the claims against him never reached trial.
Mayweather eventually pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was sentenced to six years of probation.
Jacobs said in her lawsuit that the stabbing left her with severe, lasting injuries, including permanent loss of function in her arm.
