The 24-year-old daughter of Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Melissa Brim spoke out after a viral video showed her rapping along to NBA YoungBoy, the father of her son.

When an X user claimed that the clip proved she still loved him, Yaya hopped back online to respond.
“no i don’t want to still be with my child’s father, no i’m not still in love with him, no i’m not obsessed that ship has sailed,” she wrote. “so can we please let that narrative go? i just enjoy the music like everyone else, that’s it nothing more to it. thanks for coming to my ted talk.”

YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, is married to Jazlyn Mychelle Hayes, with whom he welcomed his 13th child in February, and he has children with several former partners.
