Last year, Media Take Out reported that Yaya Mayweather, daughter to billionaire boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather, settled a civil claim against one of NBA Youngboy’s babys mother – who told police that Yaya stabbed her.
As Media Take Out reported, Yaya’s father reportedly helped pay a 7 figure settlement to Lapattra Jacobs, who suffered serious and permanent injuries as a result of the stabbing.
Now Yaya will be avoiding spending any jail time. Media Take Out learned that Lapattra stopped cooperating with prosecutors after the settlement, and as a result – Yaya ended up getting a pretty sweetheart deal..
According to court documents, 22-year-old Iyanna Mayweather pled guilty to the stabbing, which reportedly took place inside the home of her child’s father, NBA YoungBoy on April 4, 2020.
Mayweather, who was 19 at the time, pled guilty to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
On Thursday, she received Deferred Adjudication of Guilt and was sentenced to six years of probation.
