Chud The Builder is out of jail after posting a $1 million bond in his attempted murder case.
The streamer, whose real name is Dalton Eatherly, was released Monday morning from the Montgomery County Jail in Tennessee after spending about two months behind bars, TMZ reported.
A representative for the Montgomery County Circuit Criminal Court told the outlet that 10 bail bond companies each covered $100,000 of the bond. Chud reportedly put up 10% of the total amount.
His legal trouble stems from a May 13 shooting outside a Montgomery County courthouse. Police say Chud shot another man, while Chud has maintained that he was attacked and fired in self-defense.
He also claimed he accidentally shot himself during the incident and was later seen being taken away on a stretcher.
The attempted murder case is not Chud’s only legal issue.
Just days before the courthouse shooting, he was arrested following an incident at a Nashville steakhouse. Authorities accused him of causing a disturbance and leaving without paying a bill of nearly $400.
He was later charged with theft of services, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in that case.
According to WSMV, both criminal matters have now been sent to a grand jury for review.
