Meija Moreno may be getting a Summer House invite just as her ex, West Wilson, dramatically exits the cast.
A source told Us Weekly that Meija, 27, has been discussed as a possible addition to season 11 after she bonded with the group and filmed “The Aftermath,” a bonus episode with Ciara Miller that aired June 16. Bravo has not announced the official cast.
Meija’s possible arrival comes after West, 31, reportedly lost his spot as a full-time cast member following months of drama surrounding his relationship with Amanda Batula. Their romance upset several housemates because of Amanda’s history with Ciara.
“West isn’t coming back,” a source told Us. “He could still make an appearance on Summer House or In the City in the future, especially if things with Amanda progress, but he’s not a cast member this season.”
On Summer House: The Aftermath, Meija spoke about where things stand with West after he was grilled at the reunion. She revealed that they’d recently had a heated six-hour call with him, even after the reunion, and that they rarely text anymore and stick to phone calls because of Amanda. Ciara also called Meija during the reunion and revealed that she and West had been dating “exclusively” for over a year.
Amanda and West confirmed their relationship in March, and not everyone was ready to move past it. Lindsay Hubbard told Amanda, “You can’t just be the ostrich who puts their head in the sand.” Lindsay also said the choice involved “the one guy that has broken Ciara’s heart multiple times.”
Jesse Solomon is expected back, while Ben Waddell’s status remains uncertain. The outlet is reporting that newbie Levi Sebree was not asked back and Ciara has publicly shared that she is undecided as to whether or not she will be returning.
