West Wilson Accused of Trying to Get ‘Summer House’ Castmates Fired Before His Own Exit!

West Wilson’s Summer House exit reportedly came after he allegedly pushed for some of the show’s biggest names to be cut.

West, 31, will not return for season 11 after three seasons, with one source alleging he “tried to get Kyle, [Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke] fired” before his own future with the series came to an end, US Weekly reports.

“His goal was to be with Amanda and then just film with his friends,” the source claimed, referring to Amanda Batula, 34, whose romance with West sparked backlash after her separation from Kyle Cooke, 43. Another source said West’s exit was a “mutual decision between the network and West.”

The insider said West had already been “feeling like his time on the show was coming to an end” before the reunion. It has also been reported that West had been tapped to lead his own Summer House spinoff, The Ozarks, but this was reportedly scrapped after the sordid scandal broke.

“It became even clearer that there wasn’t a long-term fit anymore,” the source continued. “He is at peace with the decision and is focusing on his podcast and other business ventures.” A second source claimed West also attacked Lindsay’s decision to film while pregnant.

“He’s told producers that Lindsay shouldn’t film pregnant and being a new mom because it’s a show about singles and having fun in the summer,” the insider alleged, “There’s a tear in the friend group. The cast doesn’t want to film with him.”

Amanda’s status remains “still up in the air,” while she and West are reportedly “still fully committed to each other,” despite conflicting reports that they have split and Amanda blaming him on last night’s special, Summer House: The Aftermath, where she accused him of preying on her while she was vulnerable.
