Vice President JD Vance Drops Diddy Joke During Memoir Event!

Lyndon Abioye |

JD Vance trended online over the weekend after he dragged Sean “Diddy” Combs into a joke during a recent interview.

The vice president was speaking at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library while promoting his memoir Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith when the conversation turned to one very loaded chapter title: “More Money, More Problems.”

Yes, that “More Money, More Problems.”

Asked why money can bring more headaches, Vance took aim at Diddy, who produced the late Notorious B.I.G.’s famous song of the same name.

“I’m a millennial, and so I believe that’s the wisdom of the great Christian theologian P. Diddy, who as we found out in the last couple of years is very much not a Christian or a theologian,” Vance joked as the room laughed on.

“I’m going to get in trouble for all kinds of things,” he added. “That will be one of them. That will be in an attack ad at some point in the future.”

The Diddy joke arrives while the disgraced music mogul is fighting a serious legal battle. Diddy was sentenced last October to four years in prison on prostitution charges and is currently appealing the sentence, a process that could take up to a year.

Earlier this year, President Donald Trump revealed that Diddy had asked him to consider a pardon in a handwritten letter. Trump said Diddy’s past criticism of him “makes it more difficult to do,” and did not pardon him.
