Tyrese Gibson wants his ex-wife Samantha Lee Gibson behind bars, claiming she took their daughter out of state and blocked him from seeing her.
The Fast & Furious star is seeking an arrest warrant for Samantha for allegedly violating their custody agreement, according to court documents TMZ obtained.
Tyrese claims Samantha took their daughter, Soraya, out of Georgia in September 2025, just one month after they agreed to a parenting plan.
He called her actions “premeditated” and accused her of interfering with his court-approved visitation rights.
Samantha reportedly opposed the warrant request, arguing that she has primary custody and that Tyrese’s filing contains inaccurate information. She also insists her relocation was no secret.
Tyrese and Samantha married in 2017 and welcomed Soraya in 2018 before separating in 2020. Their split has since produced repeated courtroom clashes over child support, custody and legal expenses.
In 2022, the court ordered Tyrese to pay $10,690 monthly in child support. He was briefly detained in 2024 over unpaid support obligations.
Samantha’s attorneys recently sought to have him jailed over nearly $492,000 in allegedly unpaid legal fees.
