Tina Campbell is asking a judge to give her primary custody of the two minor children she shares with estranged husband Teddy Campbell as their 24-year marriage moves toward divorce.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the Mary Mary singer requested both legal and physical custody. She is not seeking to cut Teddy out of the children’s lives, however, and indicated that she is open to him receiving visitation.
Tina also asked the court to prevent either spouse from receiving spousal support. According to her filing, the former couple has no property or debts requiring division.
The gospel star listed August 8, 2024, as the date they separated. Her response does not mention whether she and Teddy signed a prenuptial agreement before their wedding.

Still one of the realest moments on reality tv. Tina Campbell expressed how she felt about her husband Teddy cheating with multiple women.

Teddy filed for divorce in Los Angeles County in April, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending the marriage. His original petition did not include a specific custody request.
The pair married in August 2000 and welcomed five children together, including two who are still minors.
Tina, whose full name is Trecina Campbell, became a household name alongside her sister Erica Campbell as one-half of Mary Mary. The sisters broke through in the late 1990s and built a successful career as well as becoming major reality stars.
