‘The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright Shoots Down “Cokehead” Narrative

Part two of The Valley‘s Season 2 reunion took an intense turn when Brittany Cartwright addressed long-standing rumors about her own alleged drug use, opening up in a moment that had previously gone unseen.

During the extended cut streaming on Peacock, the conversation shifted after Jax Taylor admitted to using drugs while filming Vanderpump Rules years ago. Host Andy Cohen followed up by asking Brittany just how much the former couple partied together and whether Jax ever “introduced” her to cocaine.

“I had never even seen it before, and I was very open and honest about that,” Brittany responded candidly. “I’m not saying that I have never tried it, but give me a drug test right now and I’ll pass.”

She made similar remarks during season 2.

Brittany went on to explain that any experimentation happened well before motherhood. “Far before” her 4-year-old son, Cruz, was even in the picture,” she clarified, before expressing frustration over public assumptions. “And I hate it because now … there’s this narrative out there, like I’m a coke head or something.”

Doubling down, Brittany insisted she “did not like” the drug and added, “I don’t even smoke weed.”

Despite Brittany’s doubts, Jax insisted he is still sober.

“In my head, if I ever try to slip again, I know that you’re going to [drug] test me anytime you want,” Jax told Brittany. “And I want you to test me anytime you want, not only for you, but for me. Because I don’t want to touch drugs and alcohol again. It’s f–ked up my life.”

He did admit that he would never give up marijuana.
