Lil Wayne allegedly spent months trying to turn Rachel Beaver’s drunken DM into an in-person meeting, but the proposed trip ended before they ever met.
Beaver, 23, told TMZ that TikTok viewers pushed her to contact the rapper during a November livestream. The Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant star had been discussing Jenelle Evans’ previous experience with Wayne when she decided to take her own chance.
“I texted him one night while drunk,” Beaver said. “Everyone said yes, so I did.”
Her message read, “Fly me out I won’t say anything like the last one.” Beaver said Wayne responded about a month later and asked for her phone number.
Alleged texts obtained by TMZ show Wayne continuing to pursue a meetup, telling Beaver they could see each other “whenever” and indicating that he would cover her travel. In one early-morning Jan. 3 message, he allegedly wrote, “want u.”
Beaver, who has two children, wanted to coordinate the trip near her April 8 birthday but needed to arrange childcare first. She later told Wayne that an identification problem had kept her from flying.
The messages reportedly slowed after her explanation. When Beaver followed up with “hey :),” the text appeared green, leaving her to suspect she had been blocked.
Evans previously said Wayne flew her to Los Angeles after messaging her online. She said she rejected a hookup and left with “no hard feelings.”
Wayne’s most public relationships include his marriage to Toya Johnson and romances with Nivea, Lauren London, Christina Milian and Denise Bidot.
