Taylor Frankie Paul’s revealed that she engaged while filming the canceled ABC dating show, Bachelorette, then resumed contact with ex Dakota Mortensen after returning home.

“‘Yes.’ Yes, I did [get engaged],” Taylor, 32, reveals in a preview from season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, per US Weekly.

Taylor told Jessi Draper, Mikayla Matthews and Mayci Neeley that a contestant proposed during filming but does not name him in the clip, but the women appear to hint that it was Doug Mason.

“Obviously [me and ex Dakota Mortensen] were texting,” said Taylor. “‘When are you going to be home?’ I don’t know how it led to it but he came over.”

Mikayla quickly replied, “Umm … I think I know how that happened.”

The women also tease the similarities between Taylor’s mystery fiancé and Dakota.

“They have the same initials. They’re both from Idaho. It’s so weird,” Jessi then added.

Taylor responded, “I didn’t start thinking that until people said it around me.”

The season never aired. ABC pulled Taylor’s Bachelorette run three days before its scheduled February debut while she and Dakota were involved in a domestic violence investigation in Utah.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office later declined to pursue criminal charges.
