Tamron Hall Was Fired From Hosting ‘Sister Wives’ Because Her Questions Were “Too Tough”

Tamron Hall welcomed Sister Wives star Meri Brown to her talk show, where she revealed the reason she no longer hosts the show’s popular tell-all episodes.

Tamron hosted the show for four seasons and was loved by viewers for always getting to the root of the issue, but the network felt differently.

“I have not seen Meri since I hosted the last tell-all. I will be honest with you. I was told not to come back because some people thought that the questions were too tough that I was asking,’ she told Meri. “I’ve always been so fond of Meri, their family. Truly, I’ll tell you, I fell in love with their children, and now, for the first time, Meri has accepted an invitation to join our show to sit here and talk to me.”

Tamron also revealed that she initially did not want to host the show but then developed a connection with the family, especially Meri.

Sister Wives followed Kody Brown and his four wives, but he now has only one wife, Robyn Brown, who was widely considered the favorite by viewers… something Kody admitted years later.

Christine Brown was the first to leave in 2021, citing emotional neglect and a lack of partnership. Janelle was the next to jump ship after several heated arguments caught on camera with Kody and Meri was the last to leave after being talked into trying to hold onto the marriage by Robyn.
