Takeoff’s Mom Seeks to Shut Down R8pe Lawsuit After Accuser Alleged Wiped Phone

More than four years after Takeoff’s death, his mother is seeking a major legal victory in the sexual assault case brought against the late Migos star.

Titiana Patrice Davenport and her son’s estate want a judge to dismiss the lawsuit, accusing the woman behind it of deleting messages that might have challenged her allegations.

The woman, identified in court records as Jane Doe, claims the rapper sexually assaulted her during a June 23, 2020, party at a home in Encino, California.

Attorneys for the estate say Doe admitted during an Oct. 14 deposition that she wiped information from her phone after filing suit.

“The court should not tolerate such conduct and should impose terminating sanctions in the form of dismissing plaintiff’s case,” the lawyers argued in documents filed last week.

They also allege that a friend of Doe testified that her accusations were invented with assistance from other friends. The estate’s attorneys argue the deleted conversations are especially significant because Doe reportedly intends to use portions of text exchanges to support her case.

In her lawsuit, Doe alleges Takeoff ignored her rejected advances, followed her into a bedroom and forced her to have sex.

She is also pursuing a $6 million claim against his estate.

Takeoff, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, died at 28 after being shot outside a Houston bowling alley in November 2022.
