Kyle Cooke says he feels betrayed by his former friend, West Wilson, after West confirmed his relationship with Kyle’s estranged wife, Amanda Batula.
In a new social media interview with journalist Adam Glyn, the Summer House star admitted he is still trying to figure out how to move forward.
“I’m still processing how to even confront West,” Kyle said. “I think a lot of people don’t understand how close we were. There’s some wild betrayal here.” Kyle and Amanda announced their split in January after four years of marriage. Amanda and West then went public with their relationship earlier this week.
“He basically threw his friendship with me away in one clean swoop,” Kyle continued. “What happened to bro code?”
Kyle also accused West of using his criticism of Kyle on the show to make himself look better.
“West is smart enough to know who the audience is,” he said. “He knows what to say to women to win them over.”
The reality star was especially upset that West called him out after Kyle’s drunken outburst toward Amanda earlier this season.
“I don’t need to be kicked by the dude on the show,” Kyle said.
Even so, Kyle said he remains worried about Amanda and her well-being.
“I’m giving Amanda grace,” he said. “Right now, I’m more concerned about Amanda’s mental health.”
Videos have since circulated showing West’s behavior after Kyle’s outburst and his intimate comforting of Amanda in a bathroom.
