‘Summer House’ Future in Question After Amanda and West Romance

Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship is continuing to ripple through the Summer House world, with potential changes already being discussed behind the scenes.

A source says producers are rethinking the series’ future following the controversy surrounding the couple.

“The next season of Summer House will not be in the original house,” the insider shared with US Weekly, adding that the team is exploring new directions, including different locations and possible spinoff ideas.

According to the source, some familiar faces may move entirely away from the Hamptons setting.

“Original cast members like Kyle, Amanda and Lindsay will be focusing on the In the City show moving forward,” the source said.

The upcoming spinoff, set in New York City, has already begun filming and is expected to debut in May. It will feature returning personalities alongside new additions, but some viewers are already threatening to boycott the show after seeing that West made an appearance.

Meanwhile, questions remain about the rest of the cast.

“It is unclear whether Ciara will return to Summer House in any capacity,” the source noted.

The drama stems from Amanda and Amanda confirming their relationship earlier this year after weeks of speculation and the timing raised eyebrows, particularly given West’s past connection with Ciara. In this week’s episode, fans were in uproar after Ciara was seen trying to distance herself from West, insisting they leave their friendship behind them but West was unwilling to do so.
