Stephen A. Smith erupted on air this week, unleashing a fiery rant that had listeners glued to their speakers as he tore into Democrats over the sudden release of new Jeffrey Epstein files.
The outspoken sports host lit up his SiriusXM show, Straight Shooter with Stephen A., questioning why the documents were only now being made public.
“Ladies and gentlemen, keep in mind that the Epstein files were in existence and free to have been open during the Biden administration,” he shouted. “You were there for four years. How come you didn’t open it as a Democratic Party then? What am I missing?”
Smith insisted he was only asking honest questions, but his disbelief was unmistakable. He argued that if there had been any explosive dirt on former President Donald Trump hidden in those files, it would have been released long before now. He feels the release’s timing is suspicious.
Smith warned listeners that this kind of drama leaves regular Americans suffering while politicians wage endless battles.
The new batch of Epstein emails was released after court restrictions expired this year, and more material has trickled out through the House Oversight Committee. Trump appears in several communications but has denied any wrongdoing.
