Stefon Diggs’ sexual assault accuser says newly obtained texts and phone records show the NFL star helped coordinate an alleged attack against him in Los Angeles.
Christopher Griffith made the claim in court documents seeking permission to add new allegations to his lawsuit against Diggs. According to Griffith, records produced during discovery include messages from Diggs’ assistant discussing flights and hotel arrangements with one of the men accused of attacking him, per TMZ.
Griffith also alleges phone logs show Diggs called that same man while the assault was taking place and alleges that the timing matches surveillance footage that allegedly shows the man using his phone inside Griffith’s apartment building.
The accuser is also seeking to add a defamation claim arising from Diggs’s recent social media post. In the message, Diggs wrote that a man was “lying on my name because he got caught stealing” and added, “Trying to act like this n—a is a victim because he lying is crazy.”
Griffith claims the post was about him and damaged his reputation.
In his lawsuit, Griffith alleges Diggs drugged and sexually assaulted him at the athlete’s Maryland home in May 2023. He says Diggs arranged for his brother and several other men to attack him one week later after Griffith rejected his advances.
Diggs has denied Griffith’s accusations. The football player filed his own lawsuit first, accusing Griffith of making false claims that harmed his reputation.
