Social Media Drags Candiace Dillard-Bassett for Calling ‘Summer House’s Ciara Miller “Dry”!

Candiace Dillard-Bassett is getting pushback online after she made some unflattering remarks about Summer House favorite Ciara Miller.

Candiace says she arrived at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards ready to give Ciara Miller her flowers, but that the reality star was standoffish with her.

On a recent episode of Undomesticated, her podcast with Michael Arceneaux, Candiace recalled meeting Ciara and Mia Calabrese on the carpet at Saturday night’s 2026 Las Culturistas Culture Awards. The Real Housewives of Potomac alum said she was happy to see both women, especially after watching the Summer House reunion clips involving Ciara, Amanda Batula and West Wilson.

“I got to meet Ciara and Mia on the carpet … So that was fun,” Candiace said. “I don’t know if she was just not in the mood, or maybe we have beef. Have I said something to offend her?” she continued.

Candiace said she tried to praise Ciara for how she handled the Summer House reunion, where cast members confronted Amanda and West about their relationship.

“[Ciara] was very dry with me,” Candiace said. “I don’t know if she was that way with everybody else, but she was very much like, ‘Okay.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just think you are killing it, and you did what you had to do at the reunion. Yes, girl.’ She was just like, ‘Okay. Yeah.’” Candiace said she was “sorry” if she had said “anything harsh,” but made clear that she is “one thousand percent” rooting for Ciara.

Ciara is recovering from a major betrayal after her best friend and co-star, Amanda Batula, finally came clean and admitted that she had been seeing West Wilson, Ciara’s ex-boyfriend, behind her back. Ciara and West seemed on the road to reconciliation, sharing a kiss on the Summer House finale and even appearing in Bravo’s new series, In the City, together, as Amanda cheered them on.

Fans quickly clapped back at Candiace, accusing her of talking trash about Ciara on her podcast.
