Sidney Starr, known for her appearances on Love & Hip Hop: New York, is facing several felony charges following an alleged incident involving a juvenile at a Georgia hotel.
Police said they were called to the Embassy Suites in Hapeville on Sunday, August 2. Starr, 41, was arrested after an investigation and “transported to the Fulton County Jail,” The Sun U.S. reports.
Fulton County booking records list charges of sexual battery against a child under 16, child molestation and sodomy. Starr has not been convicted, and police declined to release additional information because the case involves a minor.
The Chicago-born reality star, who uses she/her pronouns, was in Georgia for a professional appearance, according to her social media activity. She had been advertised as the host of a Sunday night reunion for Industry Girl, a reality competition available through Ray J’s Tronix Network.
The series brings together 25 artists, stylists and other creators as they compete in business challenges while navigating disputes within the group.
Authorities did not provide the exact time of Starr’s arrest, and Ray J has not publicly addressed the incident.
