Sheryl Crow tore into President Donald Trump after a UFC event was held on the White House lawn.
The singer, 64, hopped on her Instagram Story to slam Trump’s UFC Freedom 250 event, which took place at the White House one day earlier, on his 80th birthday.
“What happened last night on the lawn of the White House was disgraceful and void of decency,” Crow wrote.
The event featured a UFC octagon outside the White House and drew backlash after fighter Josh Hokit ended his post-match interview with a derogatory comment about former First Lady Michelle Obama.
“Powerful, rich people filled the lawn to watch a violent sport that ended with a vile and racist comment,” she wrote. “All while the average American cannot afford healthcare, gas, and cost of living.”
The Grammy winner continued, “Do not be fooled. This administration is corrupt and does not give a damn about the American people. It only cares about making money hand over fist at the expense and in spite of our democracy.”
Crow has been one of several musicians, including Bruce Springsteen, Jack White, and Tom Morello, who have publicly criticized Trump.
“If we continue to support this kind of distraction from reality, we are no better than them,” she added. “Let’s be better, America.”
