Shannon Sharpe’s attorneys have responded quickly after the sports legend was sued for r*pe this week by leaking alleged text messages between Sharpe and his accuser.
In the messages, the woman allegedly tells the former Denver Bronco that she wants him to “put a dog collar around my neck” and “tie me up and do bad things to me.
According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe alleges that Sharpe used his status to not only control her but to silence her. She alleges that during their relationship, he repeatedly threatened to choke and slap her.
The lawsuit was filed by Tony Buzbee, who is at the center of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ civil lawsuits, representing over 100 clients.
Sharpe’s attorney, Lanny J. Davis, released a statement saying that the text messages “clearly indicate the nature of their relationship was consensual and sexual in nature — and, in many cases, initiated by her with specific and graphic requests.”
In one text, Doe wrote, “I wanna be ab*sed daddy” on March 14 and that on October 9, she sent him a text, telling him, “i want you to put a dog collar around my neck and choke me with it while ur f–-king me.”
The statement reveals the identity of Jane Doe and asks Sharpe seveal times to “put a big Black baby in her.”
Sharpe’s attorneys allege that things went left for the couple after Sharpe “accidentally” livestreamed himself having intercourse on Instagram Live last September. Doe repeatedly demanded a “formal apology.” Sharpe responded, telling her, “I’ve already apologized. Stop playing childish [games].”
