Shannon Sharpe Urges Release of Complete S*x Tape Amid Assault Allegation Controversy

Lyndon Abioye |

Shannon Sharpe is calling for the full 10-minute video of the incident at the center of his sexual assault allegation to be released to the public.

Sharpe has been accused of assault, sexual assault, battery, and sexual battery by a former girlfriend, but the former NFL star claims that all sexual interactions with the alleged victim were consensual.

Sharpe says Buzbee will soon release an edited clip, but he wants everything revealed to the public. He also states that he would release the tape himself if he had it in his possession.

“I believe he’s going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and play into every stereotype you could possibly imagine,” Sharpe said. “That video should actually be 10 minutes or so. Hey, Tony, instead of releasing your edit, put the whole video out. I don’t have it, or I would myself.”

Jane Doe is suing Sharpe for $50 million.

He was also accused of engaging “in the intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

The alleged victim is being represented by Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee. Sharpe says the allegations are just a “shakedown.”

“This is a shakedown,” Sharpe says at the start of the video. “I’m going to be open, transparent and defend myself, because this isn’t right. This is all being orchestrated by Tony Buzbee, who has targeted Jay-Z.”

Sharpe says Buzbee specifically targets Black men.
