‘Selling Sunset’s Emma Says She’s ‘Tapped Out’ as Cast Chaos Grows

Lyndon Abioye |

Emma Hernan is opening up about her future on Selling Sunset, and her comments have fans wondering if she might follow Chrishell Stause out the door.

During a recent appearance on the Untraditionally Lala podcast, the entrepreneur reflected on her experience with the series and admitted she had felt ready to step back before. She explained that she considered leaving after season 8 but returned to share her perspective, sharing that she now feels emotionally drained and unsure about continuing.

“I’ll never say never. I don’t like when people say they’re not going to join the show and then they do. I’ve heard that so many times where people are like, ‘I’m never coming back.’ And they’re back every season,” Emma shared. “A lot of people have done and said that — I’m not naming names.”

“I’ve actually never said it, but I’m at a point where I’m really happy with my life,” she continued. “I love my family. I’ve been trying to spend more time with them. I enjoy being home with the family, and I’ve been on the East Coast a lot this year, which has been really nice for me.”

Emma avoided making a firm announcement, instead saying she prefers not to make declarations she might later walk back. She acknowledged that many cast members have sworn off returning only to show up in later seasons. Still, she admitted she is focused on family and has enjoyed spending more time on the East Coast this year, which has made stepping away feel more possible.

Her former bestie, Chrishell Stause, announced her exit from the show after accusing Emma’s boyfriend, Blake Davis, of being a MAGA and of sharing hateful posts against the LGBTQ+ community across his social media.
