Saweetie Dragged Into $3 Million Lawsuit Over Skipping Japan Concert!

Saweetie has been accused of fraud by a Japanese concert promoter who claims the rapper failed to perform a scheduled run of shows after accepting a six-figure deposit.

TMZ reports that Moon Dream Production filed a lawsuit against Saweetie and Icy Girl Touring over concerts scheduled for July 2025 in Japan, and that she agreed to perform four dates between July 18 and July 26 for $200,000.

The promoter says they paid Saweetie a $100,000 deposit before the planned performances, but the rapper allegedly never appeared for the concerts and instead used the trip to perform elsewhere.

The promoter claims Saweetie and her team “utilized all the visa services facilitated by the promoter” to enter Japan before appearing at different venues, including a special Tokyo nightclub performance on July 25, and that the deposit was not returned after the shows allegedly did not happen.

In the lawsuit, the promoter claims it suffered major financial losses connected to the canceled appearances and spent an additional $100,000 on merchandise and advertising tied to the events, plus another $200,000 securing venues.

The promoter claims it anticipated earning a net profit of $400,000 from the concerts. The lawsuit seeks $3 million in punitive damages for alleged breach of contract and fraud.
