Savannah Guthrie is pleading with whoever took her mother to end her family’s suffering and reveal where she can be found.
The Today co-anchor, 54, shared an emotional Instagram video Monday, saying it has been months since 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1.
“I’m coming to today with a very specific message,” Savannah began. “It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony.”
“We are in a nightmare that will not end,” she continued. “Nothing about our situation has changed.”
Savannah said her family has cooperated fully with the investigation and remains committed to finding Nancy.
“We have done our part and we will never stop looking for her,” she said. “We will always ache for her, feel that hole in our hearts.”
She then appealed directly to those responsible.
“I’m asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now,” Savannah said. “Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her.”
She ended her message by saying, “I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing,” and captioned the post, “bring her home [heart emoji].”
The FBI previously released doorbell-camera images showing an armed, masked person outside Nancy’s home on the night she disappeared. Authorities have received multiple ransom notes, but no arrests have been announced.
