Stacey Rusch is setting the record straight about where she stands with Keiarna Stewart after their tense exchange on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
On Sunday night, viewers watched the two women clash, and while the dust has not exactly settled, Stacey made it known that she is not losing sleep over the drama. Speaking on a recent episode of the RHOP: After Show, she reflected on the argument.
“I don’t live my life trying to push buttons, but apparently I do,” Stacey said as she looked back at the blowup. She added that she does not spend her time thinking about Keiarna, a message she said might be her defining line of the season. “I don’t think about Kay. I think that’s probably the biggest sentence of the season for me, is I’m not thinking about Kay.”
Wendy Osefo jumped in to say that the lack of attention seems to be part of the issue. “And that bothers her. She wants her to,” Wendy said. Stacey responded that Keiarna’s reactions are not hers to manage. “Well, we can all want,” she said. “And it is not my job to analyze or unpack Kay’s issues. We do not have enough time in this show for that.”
The cast had plenty to say about the tension between the two women. Wendy suggested Keiarna may have gone after Stacey in search of attention, while Keiarna herself admitted she was unimpressed by what she described as Stacey’s lack of authenticity. Fans are calling for Bravo to boot Kiearna from the show.
Monique Samuels also noted that Stacey seems to “infuriate” Keiarna, adding that Keiarna does not have the capacity to be around her, while Gia Glover observed that the pair “have it out for each other,” and Gizelle Bryant remarked that the two become completely different people when they argue.
For now, Stacey is keeping her cool and keeping her distance.
