Real Housewives of Potomac star Keiarna Stewart may not be on the best of terms with fellow castmate Wendy Osefo, but she did not take the opportunity to pour salt in the wound during a recent interview.
When asked about her thoughts on Wnedy’s ongoing legal trouble, Keiarna responded:
“I was shocked [by Wendy’s arrest] and, to be honest, I was also a little bit disappointed. I didn’t expect that, you know? Just shocking. So all I have to say is thoughts and prayers for Wendy at this time because it’s sad,” she said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
On the current season of the show, Kiearna and Wnedy have been bumping heads, but she says things are more complicated than what fans have seen on camera.
“A lot of the things that we don’t always get to shed light on immediately in front of the camera, it was just phony. It was fake, and it was one of those things that, it was just frustrating to me when it came to Wendy because I would see Wendy on camera, and she wanted to be my really great co-host, but when it came to building genuine friendship, we just didn’t, you know, have that between us. I was trying to give her examples that I just felt like it didn’t align with what I thought friendship was, and it was disappointing because then I have to show up on camera and we’re like, ‘Hey girl,’ and it’s like, no, it’s not, ‘hey girl,'” she shared.
She continued, “It got to a point where I felt like I’m saying the same thing and you’re not getting it, but the deflection and the dismissiveness of it all, it just turned into a bigger thing than what it really was. It’s like, ‘Hey, I have an issue and I’m saying it to you,’ and now you’re making it like, ‘Oh, she’s just trying to have a moment,’ where I didn’t really need a moment. I was just telling her how I was feeling.”
