Real Housewives of Potomac alum Monique Samuels is speaking candidly about the tension that has lingered since her divorce from former NFL player Chris Samuels, saying her ex has been keeping close watch over her life in ways she finds unsettling.
In a recent interview, she said people in their Potomac community have noticed his behavior as well.
“He has done so much in the neighborhood, in the streets of Potomac, and anybody that lives in Potomac that has crossed paths with him knows exactly what I’m saying,” Monique shared.
She claimed that whenever he encounters someone, “within five minutes, he will pull out his phone,” adding that even their children told her he keeps “a whole folder with screenshots and pictures” of her. According to Monique, Chris has told her directly, “I got eyes on you,” a comment she said made her want him to “enjoy your life” and allow her space.
Monique and Chris announced their split in 2023 after more than a decade of marriage, and while both have said they remain committed to co-parenting their three children, she made it clear that the dynamic has been strained.
She said she wishes Chris well romantically and has no issue with him moving on, as long as anyone he dates is comfortable around their kids. “I really do wish him well, but I also wish for him to leave me alone. It’s like, ‘Let me live my life. You’re living your life and dating and doing whatever you wanna do,’” she said.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo and streams the following day on Peacock.
