Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton was in the hot seat on Sunday’s part of the reunion.
Mia’s castmates were confused over Mia’s claims that her former boyfriend, Inc, could have been the biological father to her son.
Mia reportedly underwent IVF to conceive her son with her husband, Gordon Thornton… but Mia insisted that even though this was true, she still may have already been pregnant with Inc’s child.
Pregnancy testing is done prior to IVF treatment, but it is possible to be pregnant, although extremely rare. Superfetation occurs when a pregnant woman manages to conceive again with a completely different sperm and egg.
It is so rare that there are only 15 recorded cases of superfetation, and only 10 of the cases confirmed are in humans.
During the current season of the show, Mia has been called out by the women for lying about her relationships with both Inc and Gordon. Inc has ended their relationship and Mia claims she is getting a divorce from Gordon, but Dr. Wendy Osefo believes that Mia is also lying about her divorce and that she will remain married to Gordon.
