Real Housewives of Miami star Julia Lemigova has shared an update on her marriage to tennis star Martina Navratilova after her cheating ways were exposed during the recent reunion.
On the Season 19 reunion, Julia revealed that she had slept with her castmate, Adriana de Moura.
In retaliation, Adriana revealed that Julia had cheated on Martina with several other individuals, including a Haitian mortician and a police officer.
“Martina and I have gone through ups and downs like any other couple,” Julia told PEOPLE. “And during one particularly rough time, we decided to open up our relationship. It was something we both agreed upon and explored, with openness and care. But it also brought challenges that we had to face head-on.”
According to Julia, the rumors that Martina has ended their marriage is false and that they are now “stronger than ever.”
“We had to have some really difficult conversations. It made us more committed to repairing what was slightly fractured, and definitely communicate better — because that’s where, maybe, the fracture started. And today, we’re in a really great place,” she later added. “Our focus is on each other and on our family. My marriage to Martina is the most sacred part of my life. I hurt her, and I take full responsibility for that. But I’ve asked her for forgiveness and she’s forgiven me.”
Julia Lemigova and Martina celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in February 2024 despite being married in December 2014.
