Katie Ginella is speaking out after a controversial social media clip of RHOC stars Jennifer Pedranti and Gretchen Rossi made the rounds and quickly got deleted.
The video, which Ginella says features the duo making stereotypical Asian “faces” and “sounds,” didn’t sit well with the reality star.
“There’s a very inappropriate video going around where two girls are pretending to fight, squinting their eyes and making Asian faces to Asian sounds,” Katie told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea in an interview on Tuesday.
Katie called out her castmates for their tone-deaf behavior.
“They should read the room,” she added.
She added, “You know, I’m the very first Asian American on Orange County. I’m the very first Korean adoptee and so being singled out from this cast, it’s all too familiar, the feelings and all that.”

Gretchen addressed the video in a response to Page Six.
“The video we made was not directed at Katie and was not meant to be hateful. Once it was addressed to us that it could be taken offensively, we took it down immediately,” Gretchen told the publication.
