Lisa Rinna is taking aim at Andy Cohen while also revisiting the Kathy Hilton drama that helped end her run on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In her new book You Better Believe I’m Going To Talk About It, Rinna accuses Cohen of betraying her trust after he published her private text messages in his 2023 memoir.
“It was so shady,” she writes. “So Andy. So Bravo. So unnecessary.” Rinna says she was furious when she read the passage and admits she threw the book into her fireplace. “I watched it burn gleefully,” she recalls.
Rinna also alleges Cohen failed to support her during the fallout from Kathy Hilton’s infamous Aspen meltdown.
She claims she witnessed Hilton lose control off-camera and felt compelled to speak up. “I wasn’t going to protect her,” Rinna writes. “I was going to call her out on it.” According to Rinna, Hilton screamed, pounded walls, and threatened to “destroy” her sister, Kyle Richards, leaving her shaken. “It freaked me the f— out,” she says.
Instead of backing her, Rinna believes the network closed ranks.
“Nobody had my back,” she writes, adding that Cohen was especially disappointing. After the season 12 reunion, Rinna says she informed producers she was done, only to later see that message shared publicly. “That’s the game they play,” she writes. “And I paid the price.”
