Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is continuing to plead her innocence after she was accused of recruiting a man named Marcus to show up at an event and accuse Angela Oakley’s husband, Charles Oakley, of cheating on her.
On the show, Marcus claimed that Phaedra gave him an envelope of information to use against Angela and said Phaedra was also the “Godfather of Atlanta.”
“I was definitely framed. The thing about this platform is it’s huge, and you can use it for good or bad. I’ve had wonderful times, and not everyone is booked and busy like I am,” Phaedra said on The View. “But the people who need more attention definitely bring the antics.”

Since the season finale, Marcus has changed his story, claiming that Angela blackmailed him to accuse Phaedra by using some salacious information against him from the past.
“So let’s be honest – you blackmailed me to lie on Phaedra. Say I’m lying, and I will release the entire call,” he wrote on social media. “And that finale clip? You were “protecting” me – exactly like you said you would on the call. YOU invited me to the gala event AFTER Kelli’s event. And you know why… You don’t protect a stranger unless you have something to gain from them.”
Viewers are calling him an unreliable witness.
