Kelli Ferrell is speaking out through her team after her ex-husband accused her of interfering with his relationship with their children. Court documents filed December 9 show Mark Ferrell is asking a judge to change their custody and child support agreement, claiming he has been denied visitation but Kelli denies his allegation.
Mark and Kelli were married from 2011 until their 2022 divorce and share three children: Chance, born in 2012, and twins Chasiti and Chelsi, born in 2015. According to the filing, Kelli was awarded primary physical custody while the former couple shares joint legal custody. Mark was granted visitation every other weekend.
In his petition, Mark alleges his ex-wife has refused to allow him to see the children for more than a year and asks the court to hold her in contempt. He also argued his child support obligation was based on an inflated income estimate, stating he earns “$0” following the divorce after Kelli received full ownership of Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles, the restaurant they previously operated together.

“Kelli finds the claims in her ex’s recent filing both surprising and inaccurate,” her representative told Us Weekly. “At no point has she prevented him from seeing their children, and she has consistently complied with court orders while prioritizing their best interests.”
The rep also says Kelli’s concerns are purely about safety. “While Kelli has quietly endured her ex-husband’s frequent irate behavior since the divorce, her concerns are and always have been the safety of her children and herself,” the statement reads, adding that Mark has allegedly failed to pay child support. Her team adds, “Kelli is confident the facts will speak for themselves in court.”
The legal battle comes years after Kelli rose to wider fame on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where she joined the cast in later seasons and shared her life as a business owner and mother.
