The peaches are back, and the drama is already bubbling over in the newly released trailer for The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 17.
The preview, which dropped Feb. 24, confirms the return of familiar faces, including Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, and Drew Sidora, alongside Shamea Morton, Angela Oakley, and Kelli Ferrell.
Newcomers Pinky Cole and K. Michelle also join the mix, with Cynthia Bailey appearing as a friend.
The teaser opens with Drew narrating a fairy tale about “beautiful dolls” in Atlanta who “really tried to be good,” before confessing, “Spilling tea is their favorite game.”
The trailer also hints at deeper struggles beneath the glamour, as Shamea opens up about wanting financial independence in a private moment with her husband, Kelli recalls risking everything when she “took my last $50,000 and bet on myself,” and Angela breaks down in tears.
“It’s truly the hardest year of my life,” Angela admits. Those emotional moments quickly give way to explosive conflict when Porsha repeats rumors that Kelli “slept with a married man,” while K. Michelle claims Drew’s so-called friend Black, who greets her with flowers and a kiss, is also “in my DMs.”
Tempers erupt during a Dallas cast trip as K. Michelle screams, “Keep my name out your mouth,” with Drew firing back, “Don’t you ever address me that way,” as the group restrains them.
The chaos escalates again at dinner when Kelli lifts her wine glass and declares that “Porsha has f—-d every Nigerian in Atlanta,” prompting a furious response. “You better get that goddamn drink out of my face,” Porsha warns before storming off and shouting from the stairs, “Take your goddamn liquor and sit the f— down,” as K. Michelle dryly concludes, “We’re going to be very well behaved.”
Trust issues surface fast. K. Michelle declares, “I trust no lawyer that don’t practice the law,” prompting Pinky to add, “I don’t trust no lawyer that eat dead people,” leaving Phaedra stunned.
Porsha shares details about her post-divorce love life, introducing her girlfriend Patrice “Sway” McKinney while admitting she did not see it coming.
“I didn’t expect God to send a 6’5″ man with big arms and tattoos,” she says.
