Young Thug was rushed to court ahead of court yesterday.
The rapper was transported from Cobb County Jail to a nearby hospital after experiencing chest pain.
Thugger’s attorney told Judge Ural Glanville that he had “no idea what his condition is currently” but that he did not expect him to show up for court.
“I’ve asked the sherrif’s department if I’d be able to make contact with Mr. Williams… if I’d be able to see him at Grady [Hospital,” he said. “The response is probably not.”
“I do know that he’s had some difficulty of a similar sort at the Cobb County Jail a few months ago,” he continued, “so I’m obviously very concerned about his wellbeing.”
Young Thug has since been released from the hospital. He is one of two dozen defendants in the state’s RICO trial against his YSL crew. Prosecutors allege he founded the Young Slime Life gang, which has spent years “terrorizing” the city with a variety of crimes.
Thugger denies all of the allegations against him.
