When Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided, singer Al. B Sur posted a public letter to his son, Quincy, telling him to come home.
“#LettertoMySon! Come Home,” he captioned a photo of the pair of them together. “The [door emoji] is wide open. You’re safe here son! I Love you, Popz, Your Biological [fist emoji].”
In a recent interview, Quincy was asked about the status of his relationship with his father, and he says they are now closer.
“I think we got a cool relationship, right? He tends to like try and do like the ‘dad thing’ a lot. But it’s like that’s not really where we’re at in life. Like, we homies more than anything,” he said on Angela Yee’s Lip Service. “We’re like, let’s go do something, you know what I mean? And I feel like that’s kind of where we’re getting at now is actually knowing that we two grown men. You know what I mean? We can talk about anything and everything. It’s not about anything else.”
Al. B Sure! met Diddy when the Bad Boy Records was dating Kim. Kim sadly passed away from pneumonia in 2018. She was 47.
