New details are emerging in the case against singer D4vd as prosecutors reveal just how dark the alleged evidence against him is.
During a recent court hearing, authorities told a Los Angeles judge that David Burke, the 21-year-old musician, had a “significant amount of child pornography” stored on his iCloud account. The disclosure came as the court reviewed evidence tied to the murder case involving 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The singer has been charged with first-degree murder and additional offenses connected to the teen’s death. He has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors said investigators recovered more than 20 terabytes of digital evidence after executing search warrants on D4vd’s devices. They also confirmed that a court-approved wiretap had been used during the investigation.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman previously alleged D4vd killed Celeste after she threatened to expose their alleged relationship. According to prosecutors, the case includes forensic and digital evidence they believe links him to the crime.
D4vd’s legal team has denied the accusations.
“Let us be clear — the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez,” his attorneys said in a statement.
