YouTube star Ethan Klein’s marriage and podcast career are facing upheaval after his wife, Hila Klein, accused him of having a months-long affair and revealed they are separating.
The 41-year-old H3 Podcast co-host was publicly accused of infidelity by Hila, 38, in an emotional Instagram statement.
“I am living a nightmare I can’t wake up from,” she wrote. “My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months.”

Hila said she initially suspected something was wrong but struggled to get answers from her husband.
According to her account, Ethan first described the alleged infidelity as “just a kiss” before acknowledging emotional cheating and eventually admitting to an affair lasting more than six months.
“The betrayal I feel is immeasurable,” Hila shared.
The fallout has extended to their H3 Podcast, which was placed on indefinite hiatus. In a statement, the show’s crew said they were “shocked, angry, and heartbroken” and would no longer work with Ethan involved.
H3 Podcast #302 – August 31st, 2026: The show comes to a halt because someone needed to urgently tell Tamara something. Ethan Klein looks aggitated/nervous and started questioning why people wanted to talk to her. Very strange behavior. https://t.co/d32yx82Q09

Online speculation has centered on Tamara Joseph, a 27-year-old artist and animator who reportedly joined the H3 Podcast as an intern before moving into a production role. However, her alleged involvement in the affair remains unconfirmed.
What’s even more shocking is that Klein allegedly dressed Hila and Tamara as Thing 1 and Thing 2, the pair of identical, troublemaking characters introduced in Dr. Seuss’s beloved 1957 children’s book, The Cat in the Hat.

The couple, who married in 2012, share three sons and built a successful YouTube business together.
Ethan subsequently asked the public to respect his family’s privacy and said he would work toward relinquishing his podcast ownership interests.
