Phaedra Parks Opens Up About ‘RHOA’ Firing

Tiffany Brockworth |

Phaedra Parks returned to the 16th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta last month, much to the delight of her longtime fans.

Phaedra was brought in after Kenya Moore was suspended, but people have not forgotten about the reason Phaedra was forced to walk away from the franchise in the first place… #DungeonGate.

After eight seasons on the show, Phaedra was fired from the hit Bravo series in 2017 after admitting to spreading explosive rumors that fellow Housewife Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, had allegedly planned to drug Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton to sexually exploit them.

Kandi and Todd have consistently and vehemently denied the claims.

“Unfortunately, the last time you saw me wasn’t my best moment,” she told producers during her confessional. “Now, we know I regret how I left the group, but he who is without fault cast the first stone.”

“My relationship with Porsha is awesome,” she continued. “We have had our ups and downs, but we’ve always maintained that friendship. When there is a true friendship, no matter what you go through, it can never be broken, and it’s just like riding a bicycle. When we get together, we are rolling.”
